On the other hand, packaging is the art, science, and technology of preparing goods for protection, safe transportation, and sales promotion.
Definition
Packing is the process or the act to pack something for appropriate storage and/or transportation. Packing includes wrapping, sealing, bracing, marking, cushioning, strapping, weatherproofing, and other ways to proper storage and protection. On the other hand, packaging is the means, method, and device for ensuring the safe delivery of the product to the ultimate consumer in the desired condition at a minimal overall effort.

Packing is done for the basic protection of the products from damage, pilferage, leakage, etc. On the other hand, the packaging is not only done to protect a product but also to attract consumers and brand identification.
